Hi all

I wondered what people thought regarding how many Swooping Hawks to take in a squad? You get the large blast bonus at 6 models, is it worth going beyond that?

I have seen the future, and it is death.

If you have the models, you could go past 6. But I do think that’s the magic number for them. But more bodies is more lasblasters, and massed light fire is always better with more dakka. It will also let you take a few hits and still get the large blast. Just be sure you have the exarch in there. If you want to DS them (and you do) a larger squad makes for a bigger footprint. So the no-scatter is a must.

I’d guess that there might be better places to invest the points in your list, but that’s a fuzzier question based on what you field/your collection.

It’s not a bad choice. But I’d not bother personally. Especially as you get 6 in a box IIRC.
