Subject: Yet another question regarding my DKoK... This time assembly... I'm so anal regarding my models..

So I've already assembled about 70 out of my 200 DKOK. I've noticed that some arms are trial and error, on what fits the other lasgun hand on the squads(I've had more problems with the firing squads, than the advancing squads...). So on some of them there are small gaps in the back, where the arms meet the body of the models. Does liquid green stuff, fix this? I don't want things to look sloppy...
Also, as a result of the arms on the proper models being trial and error... I've noticed when I'm lining up the left arm the connects to the lasgun arm, it pushes it a bit, that makes where the hand meets the stock bend a little. I'm worried my models' guns will look a little "crooked" as a result. Do you guys think this will be highly noticable when painted? I really hope not.
Again, I'm anal retentive with my models, and it doesn't help that I have 20/10 vision, so I tend to notice EVERYTHING... Obviously a full DKoK army is expensive, so I don't want my models looking derpy, or silly. I appreciate all of the feedback on this guys! Thank you. I didn't notice in the instructions anywhere where it said that certain arms go to certain models, but I notice that's mainly the case assembling them. Did I miss something?

I've no experience with Dkok kits myself but with regards to filling small gaps I'd shy away from liquid green stuff and get some Vallejo Plastic Putty instead. It tends not to shink as much after application and sands/files far better without ripping and tearing.
Oh yeah and it's cheaper.

The arms should be matched to the torso. So each left arm matches with a specific right arm which in turn matches with a specific body. If you have 200 of the buggers and have already separated them, you're going to have a hell of a time matching them back up again As for gaps, I used regular 2 part greenstuff on mine. Liquid greenstuff is crap, it shrinks like crazy so you just make more of a mess building up layer after layer after layer and the gap is still visible at the end.

Really good to know, thank you!
Well, I am building / snipping squad by squad, so not everything is separated. How to I know what goes where? Do the roman numerals on the inside of the arm mean anything?
Also, think they'll be that noticable painted up?

I've actually only done Grenadiers myself, for them I just examined the pictures of the completed models closely, figured out which rifle arm matched to which torso, then matched the left arm to that.
Whether it'll be noticeable will depend how well you fix the gaps, I'd try and avoid bending the rifle if possible because I think that will be noticeable (a rifle is one of those things you *know* should be straight, so if it's bent it really stands out).

Grenadiers should have numbers engraved somewhere, same for the arms, just gotta match the numbers. Regular Kriegsmen gave me more freedom because they don't have cables.

DKOK needs a ton of work and total pain in the ass during assembly. Especially if you attach everything inclunding backpacks and trenching tools.
For uneven surfaces I brush on a thin layer of cement glue.
For tiny gaps I use liquid greenstuff.
For bigger gaps line under the arms I use putty.
I only run grenadiers in my DKOK army, much less hassle to assemble hehe.
Good luck!

None when I assembled them (I break feet). I'll admit I've broke at least 5, probably more, and all those broken rifles are one of the reason I haven't ade lots of progress on my Kriegsmen
