After reading through Strange Aeons, I wondered how different "Of Unspeakable Cults" was? is it pretty much Strange Aeons with Lurker bands instead of Threshold Agents, or is there something more interesting there?

I am more interested in the campaign mechanics and how much they differ from Strange Aeons. Any insight is appreciated.

Its the less developed cousin of Strange Aeons. Uncle Mike will probably revisit its ideas in a 2nd Kickstarter for Strange Aeons down the road.

It isn't to say its bad... its just... inelegant going back to it.
