This is my first army, as I just got discovered war gaming, and I decided I would try to make an army for myself. I don't care about it being too competitive, I just want models that I enjoy. Here's the list:

Brethren of the Fell-Handed -

1 Bjorn the Fell-Handed -
w/ Helfrost Cannon , 1 Drop Pod
2 Venerable Dreadnoughts
w/ 2 Fenrisian Great Axes and Blizzard Shieds, 2 Drop Pods

This formation is not replaceable, Bjorn is my favorite model, and I love this formation like crazy.


Arjac’s Shield Brothers -

1 Arjac Rockfist -
1 Wolf Guard Terminators -
w/ 2 Addition Troops, Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields
1 Land Raider Crusader
w/ Multi-Melta


Heralds of the Great Wolf -
1 Rune Priest
w/ Mastery Level 2
1 Wolf Priest
1 Iron Priest

I just put these guys in to use up my additional points.

I would really appreciate help from experienced players, so if you could critique this, it would be heavily appreciated.

Things you want.

Lucius Pattern Drop Pod - Bjorn is great but there exists no Dreadnought that isn't improved by a Lucius Dreadnought Pod.

Cyberwolves, Bikes and maybe a Thunderwolf - Heralds are great, Heralds with mobility are unholy terrors.

Dakka wolf is correct on the drop pod for sure. Still, it's a pricey thing from forgeworld.

You could easily play with the list you have there for funsies. I suggest staying away from any competitive player who will see you as a shark does a baby seal.

I tend to like thunderwolves and wulfen in my lists. If you're going to be playing space wolves a lot I would look into picking some up for future lists. Hopefully it will make it so you can replace the haralds with thunderwolves and or wulfen and then also be capable of switching out the arjac's unit for something less painful on the points realm.

Also, you will be needing grey hunters or blood claws in the future if you plan to hold objectives.

Sadly, the dreadnought formation is unable to pod, as they must maintain a formation at all times, and the pods separate them

Do they have to deploy together? If so that is a shame... though you could always look into murderfang with a drop pod if you're going with an armored wolves list.
