I had previously made an army list and posted it here, but after some thinking I came to the conclusion that it really didn't fit the reasons that I wanted to play the Space Wolves. (having wolves) I ended up tweaking it a bit, and came up with this army list:

Brethren of the Fell-Handed

Bjorn the Fell-Handed w/ Helfrost Cannon, Drop Pod
2 Venerable Dreadnoughts w/ Fenrisian Great Axes and Blizzard Shields, Extra Armor, and Drop Pods


Company of the Great Wolf

Harald Deathwolf
Wolf Guard Terminators - 4 w/ Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields, 1 w/ Autocannon and Power Fist
Murderfang w/ Drop Pod
Thunderwolf Cavalry - 2 w/ Storm Shields, and Thunder Hammers, 1 w/ Double Wolf Claws and a Melta Bomb


I don't care about it being crazy good, I just want it to be good enough. I love Bjorn and his formation, and the Thunderwolf Cavalry look too badass to not include. I would really appreciate thoughts and criticism, so feel free to share your mind.

I'd drop one of the Thunder Hammers on the TWC and replace it with a Power Maul, make use of Harold's warlord trait to get Furious Charge and pump the maul to s8, it'll also give you a few spare points to spend on some Fen Wolves.

I personally dislike the Wolf Guard terminators and would replace them with Wulfen. A 4+/5+ is almost as good as a 2+ and they all have AP2 weapons. Not to mention they tend to be a few points cheaper and they make your Thunderwolves better. Just toss a squad of Wulfen with TH/SS in instead of the Wolf guard and upgrade them to a 3+/5+ and laugh hysterically as they smash everything ever... oh and if you kill one before it goes? it swings anyways with the thunderhammer. So no loss!
