I was recently playing tyranids and rolled an 11 on the warp storm table as daemons which is daemonic possession which lets the opponent select "one non-vehicle enemy psyker on the table who does not have the daemon special rule". The only two options were a unit of three zoanthropes "who have the brotherhood rule" or a tyrant and the zoanthropes were rolled upon. The psyker then takes a leadership test on 3D6 and is removed as a casualty if failed. We weren't sure if the whole unit counted as the Psyker or if only one model got removed. Couldn't find any clarity in the Brotherhood or Daemonic Posession rules but we figured this scenario had to come up before. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

The brotherhood rule covers this. A randomly selected model is removed from play.

Brotherhood rule says "hit by an attack that specifically targets psykers. Since it wasn't a close combat attack, shooting attack or psychic attack, I assumed it wouldn't apply but if daemonic possession counts as an attack then I believe that makes sense.
