Generates 28 WC because Heralds are in formation that grants +1 WC per Herald alive and that's before one unit turns into 44 blue Horrors. Magnus summons a unit per turn from Tzeentch table, casts D beam, up to 3 other witch fires, paradox Herald summons a unit per turn and Fatey shrieks things and adds rerolls.

However it would certainly be cool to see an army that relies practically entirely on the psychic phase for everything. Of course Tzeentch Daemons need the psychic phase but this is something else.

I wouldn't exactly say the hard hitters are inconsistent though. Magnus casts the D BEAM (everything under the line including invisible units according to the FAQ is AUTO hit) and he harnesses WC on a 2+. And he can cast 5 powers a turn.

Also just realized that Magnus benefits from a 2++ rerollable from Cursed Earth alone.

This does not work. The blessing is not cast on him, because it targets "self" and magnus has no asccess to cursed earth. If Magnus is under the effect of cursed earth (because he is in 12" to someone who has it) AND is affected by a blessing (psi-weapon or something similar cheap), then he gets the 2++

What detachment is Magnus in? He's a CSM LOW not a daemon one.

Well, I like the sound of this list. Not sure if somebody wants to battle you in a friendly game.

Does magnus have the daemon of Tzeentch or the mark of Tzeentch?

Hmm I'd have to read the wording for cursed earth. In either case he's usually going to want to cast warp siphon on himself (extra warp charge for every power successfully cast within 18") so that should do the trick.

About his LOW status I may have been confused. U saw somewhere that he was going to be in both armies but it could be wrong information.

He does have daemon of Tzeentch not Mark of Tzeentch

EDIT: It does appear that I was incorrect and Magnus is a CSM LoW only. So I guess you swap a Herald for a Sorceror and a unit of Pinks for 2 units of Cultists. Doesn't feel near as good but meh.
