Something I've been kicking around in my head for a bit. This list is on the same kind of theoretical plane as the army of flying monkeys, never going to be played, but fun to think about.

1850 pts,
Lib conclave with Tiggy (all lv2)

20 Ordo Mal Inquisitors with Terminator armor, hammers, and a few psycannons.

Roll Tiggy on Biomancy, (you'll need endurance)
everyone else wants electrokesesis (Veil of time, Magnetokinesis, and electrodisplacement)

You now have a 71 wound blob squad with rerollable terminator saves, rerollable 4+ FNP, EW, 24in movement
that strikes with 97 force hammer blows on the charge and massive enough to make multi assaulting easy.
Any member can break off to grab points, since every model is an IC. Anyone can look out sir anyone else.
and the list can easily be split to cover multiple board sections, depending on your psychic power distribution.


Since each INQ Is a detachment this list Is technically battleforged.

It does represent supreme munchkin-ism and using a list like this would get you booted most of the time, but it's fun to think about.

Thoughts? Ideas? Would it even work in the first place?

FnP on toughness 3 models is ignored by anything s6 or higher...the EW will stop ID from doing more than 1 wound but won't allow FNP versus ID.

It's an interesting idea, but will is not as durable as you think it is.

Any strength 8+ attacks are ignoring the FnP for all the models T4 or less. Should you run into an army with S8 ap2 shooting, especially blasts, or lots of fast Sx2 ap2 attacks you might get tabled quickly.

In My Lab

Most Tournaments only allow up to three detachments.

For comparison's sake, 37 Wulfen with TH/SS. Your few Psycannons and Bolt Pistols won't do much to hurt them, and even if you get the charge off on them, they've still got 148 attacks. That's 74 hits, 61.67 wounds, and 41.11 wounds through your Invuln save.

In comparison, you do, ON THE CHARGE, 80 attacks, 40 hits, 33.33 wounds, 11.11 dead Wulfen (Plus 15 attacks from the Librarians, 10 hits, 8.33 wounds, 2.78 more dead Wulfen for 13.89 total). Even with Force (which, remember-to get the benefits of the Librarius Conclave, you can only cast 3 powers per turn-but you should be able to nab Force) the Wulfen win combat pretty hard (41.11 wounds to your 27.78) and then it just goes downhill from there.

And if you charge just one squad (far more likely) the other squads will close in on you (since they have 9.5" effective movement before charges) and charge you, and then you die.

Well, yes, but you'd still have the 5+ rerollable invuln saves. 4+ if you want to go for sanctuary. Or you could try to get tiggy to roll for warpmetal armor instead of endurance, giving everyone t4/t5 and bonus wounds. or I could go for invisibility as it would affect all 25 models and remove the blast problem.

I forgot to factor in Veil of Time. About 27 wounds if that's up.

And Tiggy, rolling on one table, has a 75% chance of getting the one power he needs.

Every other Joe Schmoe only has a 33.33% chance of getting the power they need on one table.

And remember-you can only ever cast three powers if you want the 2+ Manifesting. So pick them carefully.

Edit: Also, Veil of Time is on Librarius, not Electrokinesis.
