Can anyone update that track sheet? I feel like a lot of stuff has been identified and we're only down to a few little things.

That's a really detailed eagle, but from the looks of it, it's not modeled to represent an actual animal, but a decoration.

OF COURSE, it could just be another Stormcast Eternal. Let's hope that's not the case.

It looks big, whatever it is. I doubt it'd be a helmet decoration, but it'd be a really gaudy one if it was... I'm guessing something that's going to be on a vehicle-sized model or larger. The next Primarch could be a good guess, or a standard bearer of some kind, maybe...

So if it's really close to the crashed aquila lander fusion core that came in the Ultramarines vs. Nids starter box...

Eldar vs. Nids Starter Box confirmed.

Being colorized really helps bring out that some of the paints used were metallics, especially around the inner cylinders.

I'm definitely leaning 40k. It looks mechanical. It's design may be something fancy for Eldar or it could be some sort of Inquisition for Imperium.

But guys... I'm starting to think we might actually see some new Imperium stuff. The eagle, the aquila lander core, and now this...? Something Inquisition related.

Somebody on the FB mentioned it looks similar to the filigree on the rubric marines.

It also looks really close to the filigree seen on Skitarii units. Those ornate rifles and everything. I don't think the filigree looks that 'chaosy' though.

Yeah, looks like a really tiny part. It being 'in the wind' implies some sort of motion, but then all of the characters with capes have them fluttering dynamically, so it really means very little.

I'm leaning towards an AoS kit. Pair it up with that peacock feather and you have something that could very well be an Empire/Free People's character.

It could also imply Dark Angels or something Inquisition in 40k (Sisters of Battle?) but I really think it's going to be AoS. Besides Shadespire and Blightwar, AoS hasn't gotten a lot since 8th dropped, so I feel that they're going to be getting some attention soon.

Much to my chagrin. I always get frustrated when AoS takes up a month when I just want more 40k stuff.

Looking at all of the rumor engine pieces, they all are carefully photoshopped to A. be gray and B. be cut out from their context. The edges of the image are sharp, implying someone erased anything that was behind it. The candle could be resting on top of something (a table or night stand for all we know, or even resting on a vehicle chassis).

Also, looking at a lot of the rumor engine images, I feel that a lot of them will be for Shadespire. We're expecting Skaven, Fyreslayers, and plenty of other factions. There will probably also be additional releases for Necromunda after it drops. People have suggested that GW wants to support Necromunda better than Bloodbowl, with faster releases out the gate.

I also can't deny that candles are very Inquisition-y. They're in dire need of an update and Inquisitors are some of the most popular characters in 40k. Eisenhorn, Ravenor, tons of others. They would fit very well in the new Herohammer that 8th edition has become. Different acolytes, attendants, and other characters to add on, along with assassins and other agents as well. Of course, there's also the Sisters of Battle, a faction in this weird position of having one plastic model. It's in this weird position of dichotomy where it feels to most like it's been forgotten and ignored, yet it continues to be mentioned, even scoring in the top 15 of the last tournament...

The rock makes me think of Sylvaneth, or some other decorative base. Having just put together a bunch of Dryads, I can't help but make the connection, as there are a lot of extra bits in the box that are rocks and skulls with roots curling around it.

The long curved object looks too smooth to be a rat tail and too long and blunt to be a claw. It's touching/attached to the rock/pinecone, which makes me think it might not just be a decorative base...

Yep, time to take a look at all of the Rumor Engine stuff and see what can be knocked out by the Shadespire Skaven release. Pretty sure there's an image of a tail in there that's from the same release.

Since they announced the Deepkin, the last few Shadespire factions, the Castellan, and the new Death model, there's not much left on the rumor engine checklist. They're starting from scratch, and scratch is a terrain kit.

Looks like a grot mouth to me, but the detail on the paint makes it seem bigger than a grot. Maybe it's a giant grot?

A PRIMEGROT????

I'm predicting Slaanesh. If it's not Slaanesh, then my next guess would be the 'Dark Elf' re-bake. Malerion's elves.

As long as it's not Nurgle, I'll be happy. There's a lot of grot fans out there that would be thrilled if this is accurate.

There was, however, another Rumor Engine that is the Troggoth's Club. It was a close up of those little barnacle things.

To be honest, the Darkoath Warqueen and Chieftain are very... humble, to be... a Chieftain and a Warqueen. They don't look out of place with a modest marauder horde.

I was thinking this too. But then, the other heroes that were released in the Malign Portents are also kind of 'humble'. They're not the biggest baddies in the army. The Knight of Shrouds, for example, is definitely outshined by the version of him on a steed, or Lady Olynder.

Slaves to Darkness has some bigger, more impressive leader type models. I think the Warqueen and Chieften are exactly as you described - leaders of Marauders more than anything else.

They also revealed another grot model for Shadespire. It's clear that the goblins are going to be getting some attention, so I bet this is just more of that.

Maybe the rumored spider rider remake.

I'd guess AoS. Could even be a new elf.

I wouldn't be surprised by a new Obliterator kit. I'd love it honestly if the Mutilators went the way of the dodo. They were crap in the codex that released with them, which is saying something.

But the Obliterators need a redesign.

I think I'd be happier if it was a new kit though.
