Veteran Knight Baron in a Crusader

At my desk

I'm going to be participating in an Apocalypse game with a few friends and instead of taking separate knights we decided to put them into an Exalted Court Formation. They'll be playing alongside 3000 points of Space Marines that will cover most of the anti-infantry and add some lighter anti-tank fire support of their own. We'll be playing against Chaos Space Marines with some Daemons thrown in (mostly the greater variety). Anyway, here's the list:

- Exalted Court Formation -
High King: Knight Warden - Twin Icarus Autocannon, Mark of The Omnissiah
Lord Baron: Knight Gallant - Meltagun, The Paragon Gauntlet
Lord Baron: Knight Crusader - Rapid-Fire Battle Cannon, Stormspear Rocket Pod
Lord Baron: Knight Errant - Meltagun
Lord Baron: Knight Errant - Meltagun
- 2005pts -

One of the Errants and the Crusader are glued as described, but the rest are magnetised so exchanges of weapons are easy to do among the other members of the court.
We decided that the +2WS/BS of the High King would be best used for the 12 shot Gatling Cannon and anti-air options and then the Chainsword if he ever ends up in combat.
The Crusader is designed to make mincemeat of MEQs (which our opposing side will be fielding in great numbers).
The Gallant is to tie up any larger daemons or Chaos Knights/Titans in close combat and hopefully come out on top due to it's two CCWs.
The Errants are to wreck tanks, TEQ and other heavy units with their Thermal Cannons.

Thoughts, suggestions and opinions are greatly appreciated. Cheers lads.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Be careful when playing apocalypse against CSM: if they make their leader a Word Bearer then they can control your knight as if it were theirs' for a turn. A friend and I once teamed up for an apocalypse game and we both brought a Word Bearers lord, by the end of our first turn 3 of their knights were dead due to in fighting. Also watch out for psychic powers which can also take over your knights for a turn.

Besides the scariness of CSM at apocalypse level, your list isn't bad for an imperial army .
