What is with the new flags on the country flag regions of where you live on the GW web site? Before I would have the Canadian flag. There would be one for the UK, USA, Australia, New Zeeland etc. Now it's just ugly full colour or half colour triangles now. Like now for Canada it's a solid red box. Others are diagonal half white/red triangle.

I saw the old system once through a link but now I am back to these ugly flag locations and it's harder for me to know what country region I am in now.

As far as I can tell it's a graphics glitch that rather than showing the whole flag image it's just showing a zoomed in corner

I've seen similar glitches in several other sites where images are being treated in a similar way (eg kickstarters 'profile' page)

my guess is some widely used bit of software for making/displaying webpages has been updated and it's gone a bit wrong and everybody taking a larger image and shrinking it to display will have found its now not shrinking and only displaying a small part of the full sized image

quite what bit of software is causing the problem it's hard to say but I suspect it's IE as it's showing the incorrect images on the GW site, while firefox, chrome (and even edge) are all ok
