Hello everyone with the book finally being released and giving me the chance to look over the rules and oh man is everything expensive! However as I am a big fan of running Elite armies this does not bother me and I am quite excited to face the challenges and different tactics that I will be forced to utilize when playing with this army
*PLEASE NOTE: I am brand new to Psychic Powers so any thoughts on what would be the best Discipline to take id appreciate it!!!.*
I am originally going to build a pure Rubrics list until the Demons become more readily available so I am aware this may be a so-so list until that point. This is my first attempt at this so let me know what you think and thanks for posting!

Ahh man does all that come to 2k. Maan.
I think you are missing an auxiliary choice to get the detachment bonus. Automatically Appended Next Post: You don't need all those upgrades.
The jump artefact seems too good for terminators to not take.

The jump artifact is definitely one I am looking at, what upgrades in particular do you think I don't need? I will admit it has been about two Editions since I last played Thousand Sons

Icon of flame, warpfire gargoyles, soul blaze ain't so great.
Cheapest auxiliary is I think the predator. Best is probably the helldrake.
Saying that, the detachment bonus is not great. You don't need the warlord 're roll, rerolling perils is Ok , and the extra cast is rarely gonna be useful.
I guess ahriman let's d3 units of scarabs infiltrate which is pretty cool.

Ahriman is a lot better in the "Ahriman's exiles" formation, that 3+ harness is nasty. Also it might be an idea to put one of Ahriman's mastery levels on telepathy for the 3x psychic shriek per turn.
Just my personal opinion, but the re-roll on saves of a 1 (again IMO) isn't worth maxing out the formation. The points that are saved from that can be used to add in some more psychic orientated formations to take advantage of TS prowess in the psychic phase.
