I can't find where it states that the daemons listed in the new tzeentch supplement have the daemon special rule.
Without this special rule as it states that these datasheets overwrite the previous ones from the daemons of chaos codex. Does that suggest that they are no longer daemons and do not any longer receive the 5+ invulnerable anymore?

Or am I missing something, such as a rule thats stated in the daemons of chaos codex that simply states all daemons of chaos entries have the daemon special rule.

The chaos daemon codex doesn't state that anyone has the Daemon rule either. The supplement gives the daemon rule in the same way the codex did, Daemon of Tzeentch has it in it
