So this is what I'm working with, based on what I've bought so far, so of course it isn't the best list ever, but it seems workable for now.

War Cabal Formation

HQ:
Ahriman, with Disc 260

Elite:

5 Scarab Occult Terminators, with Soul Reaper Cannon 280

Troops:

x1 10 man Rubricae with Soul Reaper Cannon 290

x1 5 man Rubricae with 2 warflamers in a Rhino with a combi-bolter 204

Sorcs: x2 Exalted Sorcs, one on a Disc, the other with the Astral Grimoire, both with Spell Familiars and ML3. 460

The idea is to try to make things as fast as possible while slinging a lot of spells around. To that end, Ahriman and a ExSorc is on discs while one is with the 10 man Rubricae and giving them Jump, while the 5 man is in the Rhino burning things or coming out to take an objective as needed. The Termies can Deepstrike, of course and Ahriman just run around and witchfire things all day long.

You don't appear to have an auxiliary choice to make the full detachment. You don't have to, but it gives you the ability to cast an extra power each and reroll perils.

Ahrimans warlord trait grants infiltrate, which should be useful.

I would drop one of the exalteds and load up on predators for anti tank.

My full plan is to pick up more Exalteds to do a War Coven as my Auxiliary, but for now that is all I have to work with. I might have to see about that Predator too, because I didn't think of anti-tank, haha,

What does the extra points for the disk do? Sorry noob question, I have the book but cant find it.

Gets you a disc of tzeetnch. +1 attack, and makes you a jetbike (+1T , super fast and can jink)

Oh sweet! I will need to find that in the book

It won't be in the campaign book, it's wargear in the codex
