So I've been reading Flight of the Eisenstein by James Swallow, and with the powers that Euphrati is able to pull off....
None of it adds up......

She encounters some spawn from the warp, she takes out the holy aquila, asks the Emperor for guidance in her time of need, and casts it back from whence it came.
How is the Emperor able to grant her powers whenever she asks for aid to defeat her foes? Shouldn't the Emperor know what is going on and why he is giving her powers in the first place?
If this is true, then he must know what's been transpiring in False Gods and Galaxy in Flames.

How about when Euphrati, Oliton, and Sinderman escape the Vengeful Spirit? Everyone is freaking out yet Euphrati is the only one calm knowing that the Emperor is watching over them
and guiding them to safety. Well... If this is true, then shouldn't, you know, he know about Horus' betrayal?

If that is the case, then was Flight of the Eisenstein all just a waste?

She might just have been a latent psyker whose potential awakened in time of need, that's a quite common trope, her faith and the danger being the triggers.

Pretty good theory, if I remember rightly banishing the daemon damn near killed her.
And you don't need super powers to be calm under pressure, faith whether misplaced or not, will do that for you.

it all started in Horus Rising when Loken killed that Demon before it killed her, she sought religion which became evident in false Gods, so she may have been touched by the warp with a latent psyker powers and faith all that is a very dangerous thing.

Thinks Palladium books screwed the pooch on the Robotech project.

Chaos gods kind of somehow have always existed yet have to be birthed. This is how the Emperor is able to have daemons of Him (Legion of the Damned) before he actually dies and is reborn in the Warp. Since the Warp-God-Emperor has always existed, He can grant Keeler power. On the other hand, Warp-God-Emperor and the Emperor of Mankind are beings in two distinctly different existences, the Emperor does not know what the Warp-God-Emperor knows.

Warp-God-Emperor? I can't seem to find any articles on this. I don't believe there has ever been a God Emperor having daemons of himself. As for the Legion of the Damned, they're just
corrupted Space Marines that somehow although tainted, still remain loyal to the Imperium. I mean, a warp-god-emperor is just speculation, nothing concrete.

Space Marines loyal to the Imperium that remain loyal after being corrupted that travel through space and time with Invulnerable Saves for no good reason (which daemons have). The Fire Hawks went missing prior to the first LotD appearance. They're Emperor-Daemons.

One of the concepts of the emperor that has been developed during the heresy novel series is that daemons consider the emperor the 'Anethema'.
The astronomicon burns and hurts them. His very essense disrupts them.

I think that through her faith, and possibly latent psychic abilities she was able to channel the emperor's energy. There's no reason to think the emperor would be aware of this.

If you believe it, the warp makes it so, so warp God emperor is an actual thing, keeler is clearly a psyker on some level, she I accessing the warp on some level in the same way as sisters of battle, they just don't believe they are using the warp to power these abilities, but there is no other way of getting "magic" in 40k
