G'day Dakka,

This one's a cross post from my blog, but I'm pretty proud of it and wanted to show it off here as well. It's a Warcraft-inspired Goblin Zeppelin, made from a 3rd Edition Dark Eldar Raider, a $1 foam egg from an art store, and a bunch of bits. It's my first serious conversion since getting into the hobby, and I had an absolute blast putting it together. The painting was a little bit rushed, and it shows, but overall I'm pretty happy.

C&C welcome!

It looks really cool, however i'm not that fond with the paintjob. It seems a little bland, and the colors don't really work together.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

The paint job is rough, that's for certain but i have too much love for the conversion itself to be too bothered by that,

realism is a lie
