Here is the Stardrake- known to the base masses as a "dragon." He, of course, is from Games Workshop's Age of Sigmar line, where the setting is populated by Ogors, Aelfs, Oruks and Duardin, and definitely does not contain Tolkienesque races like Ogres, Elves, Orcs and Dwarves.

To be honest, I think it is the best "dragon" that I've seen from Games Workshop. It was a pretty nice one to paint up.

Anyway, here are some pictures for you.

Looks absolutely stunning, the blend from blue to red that populates the mini's skin tone is very well done and adds a lot to the whole 'galaxy' thing the stormcast have going for them.

The gold is also amazing, it looks like it has been though hell, but just enough so it still looks bright.

Only small critique is that the sigmarine's sword seems a bit cluttered, it definitely looks like lightning, but there might be a bit too much. However, take that with a grain of salt because it may very well be the photots.

Wonderful stuff overall!

I'm not a big fan of the model, but your paint job is exemplary and really shows it off better than most any other I've seen.

I think I've always liked the idea of barding for dragons. I think it needs to be sort of like this- not fully covering, maybe slightly impractical. Or else it might as well be a robot dragon, right?

The price tag is steep- especially if you aren't playing Stormcasts in Age of Sigmar, so there's that.

Thanks.

Very nice odin. I do like the model and your painting style and skill is brilliant. I would get one to add to my as yet unused Stormcasts, but as with all big models I fear I couldn't do it justice (going to be hard enough with the Prime!)

I always click on your P&M threads because I know even if it is just a cake topper it will be great to look at :-)
