So you want to summon stuff? Summon lists are silly, but if you're going to do one, you might as well try to do it right.

This gives you 46 Warp Charge, and 11 summoners.
18 from the Heralds Anarchic (their Formation Bonus is that each Herald generates an additional Warp Charge)
18 from the Blue Horrors due to them being 11 models each.
4 from Fateweaver.
6 from both Lords of Change.
You get reroll 1s on all Saves by default, and are Daemons so you can benefit from Cursed Earth, and a rerollable Warpstorm chart. And you have actual bodies. You're at the whims of the dice gods, and rely on rolling Prismatic Gaze (or Boon of Flame) to get semi-workable anti-tank, but YOU SUMMON stuff. `
The Exalted Flamers are mostly there as "token" defense against Drop Pods among other things; plop them forward and go "oh, hope your Skyhammer Gravs didn't land too close to me...".
And you can argue it's fluffy. You have 9 units of Horrors, each at 11 models, so that's 99 Horrors base. You have 9 Heralds. It's not spam if it's fluffy!

I would take FW and the LoCs out of the CADs and put them into an Oracles formation. Give them re-roll 1s on Psychic test, to hits & to wound rolls. Plus re-roll Sieze and reserves. You can use the E-Flamers as the required HQ for each CAD. I am not a fan of not optimizing your choices. Heralds need Discs, someone needs Paradox and a LoC needs Robes. Both LoCs NEEEED staffs as they will be you primary way to respond to threats.

Realistically, yes. Dropping 3 horror/Herald teams gives 300 points and frees a detachment. 300 points is enough to give 6 Heralds discs and ML 2. That drops me from 46 to 40 WC. Dropping a Flamer then lets me take the Grimoire and 2 Staffs of Change.
That cleans things up quite nicely IMO.

You still need Paradox in a Summoning list as it can guarantee a WC3 power on only 5 dice. I'd say 2 Heralds can afford to not have Discs so that a Disc Herald can take Paradox. Just keep the 2 non-disc Heralds on backfield objectives.

I dont usually comment on peoples list, but this is something special. First off, I approve. Second, wow you are ridiculous. Third, please share some feedback when you play this list, it deserves some table time IMO.
The only thing is, if a Tau player or Alpha Strike player with lets say a BC/drop pod list goes first. It could really handicap this list right of the rip. I know you can just summon more stuff, and you get some W2 brimmies, but it still sets ya behind the 8ball.
That being said, I still love it and would love to hear about some table time. Good luck!

Biggest problem with this list is exactly the same problem nid, grot and guard swarm lists have. It simply takes too long to play it. You'll never get past turn 2 in a 2 hour game.
Great advantages tactically and a fun idea on paper though

Why are people so keen on discs for the heralds? Just curious. I'd understand if they were in a screamer star or something, but there are no screamers here...

Because 12" movement lets you summon in more optimal spots and 24" turbo boosts lets you then proceed to move back into safety. all in the same turn

This mainly. Plus it makes the Herald T4, although you would ideally be in a unit, so that is less important. Being on a Disc means you don't HAVE to hide in a unit. You can move 12" out to get into range of a power, then Turboboost up to 24" and hide behind LoS blocking terrain. This is particularly useful against DeathStars as you can move the Herald away from the inevitable combat and move the Horror unit forward as a speed bump. Horrors used in this manner are really good since most Deathstars will kill every model (thus skipping the Instability check) and spawn a new unit, which can then move to speed bump the Deathstar again. The Herald being on a Disc makes sure the Herald can move far enough away AND makes a great late game objective grabber -

The other simple swap to the original list is:
-Reduce to one CAD, with 6 Blue Horror units.
-Reduce Heralds Anarchic to 6 Heralds
-Drop the Exalted Flamers
That's 400 points, enough to take Belakor, 2 Lesser Gifts, and the Grimoire. Boom.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
I updated it to allow 31 WC, and a more proper backbone/resilience vs Alphastrikes.
