I've got an ITC tournament in a week, and I was thinking of running the following list:
Combined Arms Detachment (Khorne Daemonkin)
HQ:
Chaos Lord: Juggernaut, Axe of Khorne, Power Fist, Sigil of Corruption, The Blood-forged Armor
Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage
Troops:
Bloodletters: 8 men
Chaos Cultists: 8 men, Shotgun for Champion
Fast Attack:
Flesh Hounds: 10 dogs
Lord of War:
Chaos Knight Paladin of Khorne: Dirge Caster
Combined Arms Detachment (Chaos Space Marines)
Be'lakor
Sorcerer: ML3, Bike, Spell Familiar
Troops:
Chaos Cultists: 10 men
Chaos Cultists: 10 men
Total 1850 points

Basically the idea is to have 3 main threat vectors (the Knight, the D-thirster, and the mini-deathstar of the hounds, sorcerer, and Lord) run at the opponent and wreck stuff. The CSM cultists can cap home field objectives, while the KDK cultists run up the board, either capping a mid field objective or more likely dying and getting me a Blood Tithe point. BT points will be used to summon additional units as needed, hopefully allowing me to get stuff onto objectives late in the game. Be'lakor will mainly cast Invis at the Knight, also casting Shrouding and staying with the D-thirster to give him a 2+ save when he jinks (and since the Thirster can't shoot, he'll always jink). The Sorcerer will mainly be a battery for Be'lakor, but I'll probably have him roll on Telepathy just to get a second copy of some of the powers (or to get 2 Shrieks off if I'm feeling devious). I was also considering rolling on Sinistrum (looking for Warp Fate) or Biomancy (looking for Iron Arm or Endurance). I can probably also land Be'lakor late in the game to cap an objective or even kill something since his stats and weapon are not too bad.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

Can you take three detachments?

Belakor + blue/brimstone horrors is better than cultists.
Although might be too soon to use those rules I guess

I would really want more hounds but .. Hmm Not much to cut.. axe of khorne and a shotgun for two more hounds?

I don't have any Horror models unfortunately, or I would definitely take them. And yes, I can take 3 detachments. I, too, wasn't sure what to cut to maybe get a couple more dogs in. I considered dropping the Sorcerer's Spell Familiar and the Cultist's Shotgun (which is only there because I had 2 points left over). That would only get me one more dog, so I'm not sure it's worth it.

Sweet list. I like the triple threat of Belakor, the thirster and the dog bomb.

I'm curious as to how this will do in your tournament.

There's a piece of wargear in Imperial Armour XIII that you can equip onto your chaos knight. It's called First War of Armageddon or something like that. Anyway, it's 25 points and gives your knight and units within 6 inches around it a +1 bonus to their invul save. Check it out.

I don't like you on my flank because it makes me scared. I don't like being scared. Now pay attention because I'm going to ask questions later. If I ever see you again I'm gonna kill you. Got that?
