Hi ! I have begun an EC army using a BaC box. So I have 5 cataphractii terminators. They can't use the Crusader USR at all, but they still have +1I when they charge, so they get half the EC bonus. What would you recommand ? To put powerfists on them, hoping their greater durability will protect them until they strike and keeping my others units able to use the better initiative on the charge ? Or giving them lightning claws (and thus striking before others marines) ? Or just selling them because they don't synergize enough ?

The one thing power fists might do is let you at least hammer some heavier armour or lay pain on tough targets.
You could swap if someone has spare tratorus from bop

Yeah, I guess I will play them like this: tough and powerful.
Using them to crack the opponent's 2+.
I think I will have plenty of stuff striking at good Ini, without needing my termi, too.
Any EC player with cataphractii terminators ?

Power fists have drawbacks but can also double out things like fnp and such.
Nothing is without drawbacks, but they will give you a tool to hurt some of the harder to killl stuff.
I have no experience playing them with that legion.

Our local EC player refuses to use anything but Tartaros. EC gets bonuses to overrunning, so why take units that can't over run?
Need to crack a tough nut, bring Donkey Punch Derrick... err... Eidolon.
