Given the wording on Locii I have a further question on their use:

RAW If a unit contains two different Locii of the same level, the rule says I can pick which effect to apply. Say I have a Herald with a locus of Change who leaves a unit of horrors and joins another unit of Horrors. In the second unit there is also a Herald with a locus of Change, let's say for arguments sake the second Horror Herald rolled a 3 for strength. Now the first herald rolled a 6. The question is, which strength value do I use (3 or 6), or is it my choice?

Second, in the above situation, let's say the second Horror Herald (originally the 3) left the squad and joined another unit or Horrors (not necessarily with a Herald). Is it the 3 or the 6 again?

In the second case, I would say it was 3, given that he originally rolled that.

Now, this creates the following issue. In the original (original) unit there were a number of Heralds who all got the effect of the locus (S6) along with their buddy who rolled the 6. When these dudes leave the unit and join other units (with or without) Heralds, do they A) retain s6 B) retain S6 and pass it on to the squad, if I choose to, or C) lose the S6 and take the S value of the Herald locus of Change in the squad that they join; assuming, by some epic quirk of co-incidence, that there is yet another Herald in the squad they join with the locus of Change?

Apologies for the long windedness of this post.

You choose which locus applies, so you obviously choose the higher one.

If a Herald with the locus leaves a unit I would say they lose the benefit
And if the Herald joins a new unit, they gain the benefit.

But... It could easily be interpreted the other way, indeed.

So you reckon the original unit loses the benefit and the (leaving) Herald brings it with him. But what if the original unit had several Heralds with the same-level benefit? I use the example of the locus of Change because it requires the roll of a D6 at the start of the turn; I imagine you would roll once for the unit, in this case, and that the same-level effect would travel with the heralds leaving the unit (in this case S6, which the original roll was)? Is playing it this way, with the moving of locus effects between units, RAW?

Also, the effect of the locus is to roll the d6 first right? You wouldn't roll a d6 for each herald in the unit and then decide which to apply?
