So I have to ask this question cause the rule itself is pretty ambiguous.

Talisman of Burning blood

Add 3" to the maximum move distances of the bearer and all models in his unit each time they move in the Movement phase,Run in the Shooting phase and charge in the Assault phase.

So if I'm reading this right does that mean their maximum movement is increased by 3" every time they do these specific actions? this feels like a very cray cray thing to be implementing if this is the case.

Just wondering what this ruling means

Yes you're right, so normal infantry would move 9 (6+3) run 3+D6 or charge 3+2d6.

I think it's great, anything that makes assault (units) more viable).

People thinks this is great.

IMO its a gadget, its nice, but its not worth the 20pts and the artifact slot.

I rather have a Daemon Weapon for just 10 extra points.

Yep, that's how it works. As Slayer said, it takes up an Artifact slot so it's very limiting in what else you can do with the character. However, I think that in the right build it can be awesome, and is much more of a force multiplier than a daemon weapon.

A Chaos Lord on a Juggernaut with Lightning Claw and Power Fist is still a beatstick, throw in a Talisman and he and his unit will move stupidly fast across the field.

Or you could take it on one of your 'tax' characters. A Dark Apostle leading a big blob of Cultists suddenly becomes a threat when it can move an extra 6" per turn.
