Mindveil lets you move 3d6 instead of moving normally, the talisman adds 3 to the units maximum move distances.
Do they stack for a 3d6 +3 move?

Sure, if you run 2 CADs (or one Detachment and a CAD), one being ALpha and One being Khorne. YOu have battle brothers, so indi's can join units.

The Key here is Alpha Legion does not have a "Mark", so though it is an Alpha Detachment, it is counted as undivided I guess. I have not scene any rule where Traitor Detatchments can not join each other, only Marks. Just remember you cant Ally detachment, since same faction.

Despite loving both, I would say no. The minefield is instead of moving normally

I know they can join each other, even from allied detachments if you take a daemonkin or whatever primary.
The question is if talisman applies to the mindveil move.
Mindveil let's you move 3d6 instead of moving normally. Talsiman doesn't seem to restrict the bonus movement to "normal" moving, it just says that it adds to your maximum move distances.

In addition, mindveil says you can move up the the distance rolled in inches. Increasing the maximum move distance doesn't change the number you rolled. On the flipside, you move that amount of inches, which would be increased by 3 the way I see it. So it should work.

Wow, I honestly thought it was cut and dry and you were indeed referring to the different marks, apologies...
Mind-veil is during movement phase (just at the start), It says "Move the up to the distance rolled instant of moving normally". Sound like a move to me, just not a normal move, so add the 3" from the talisman.
