So after not really focussing on an army to collect for the last year, i was planning on restarting my thousand son army with the release of wrath of magnus (started the army back in csm codex 3.5).
However after reading the rules for the thousand sons they didnt really fix any of the problems that made thousand sons difficult to play in the first place.
So now im stuck with a dilema.

Should I just go "screw it", and stick with thousand sons and have a difficult time actually winning a game with a thousand son army (as in actual rubrics, not daemons + magnus).
Or should I abandon my thousand sons army and switch over to playing mechanicum (skitarii + cult), as I like those too, but at least they seem to have an easier time actually winning games.

Any additional information about your experiences with either army would be appreciated, to help me make a choice.

First of all, Mechanicus is awesome. Totally play it if you have spare time and money.

Second of all, Thousand Sons should be decent enough that you can win some games with them, but they're a rather weak army, yes.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.
