Anyone else notice that star wars fans now seem to be some of the angriest people on the planet?
All I've wanted to do online for the past 24 hours is talk to people about Rouge 1 but 99% of them just cant be happy. They think they have to bitch and moan about everything.

Its not just the movies they complain about either. I've seen grown men complain about action figures, fight over action figures and steal action figures from kids hands because they think they're 'more entitled' to them. When I saw episode 7, I saw a man in his fifties berate a tween for dressing like Rey [I commented on this event on another forum]. It certainly takes a brave man to steal toys from kids and threaten tweens doesn't it.

I'm not sure if I want to be a star wars fan anymore if this is what the fanbase has become

We have a thread about Rogue One on here, you can talk about the film in there.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
