A couple of questions here,

1. Do the berzerker units loose the blood crazed rule if an independent character(s) without the rule joins them?

2. If the Lord joins another unit without the blood crazed which of the following is correct? Or is another option the correct one?

- Only the Lord can use it to give himself the extra charge range, limited by coherency, but not any other models in the unit he joins.

- Both the Lord and the unit he joins can use the rule.

- The Lord looses the usage of the rule altogether.

I have been going over the rule book and formation and I have a feeling this is a case of models in the same unit with different movement speeds but I am not sure,

Thankyou for any help in this rules conundrum of mine.

My interpretation, based on hazy memories of similar questions in the draft faq.

Only members of the formation get the movement benefit. The entire unit would need to be fleet to rerolls run.

If a member of the formation is the closest model when charging , then the bonus movement would apply. Otherwise it would not .

From the New faq, seems to apply

Q: How does a unit consisting of a mix of Cavalry, Bike,
Jump Pack and Infantry models move, Run, Turbo-boost and
charge? Do they all use their respective rules while maintaining
squad coherency?
A: Yes. Models move individually, so in the Movement
phase each model in this unit can move up to their
maximum movement allowance so long as the unit is
in unit coherency at the end of the move. If the unit
elects to Run, no models in the unit may shoot. The unit
doesn’t benefit from the Cavalry model’s Fleet rule, as
that only applies if every model in the unit has the Fleet
rule. If the unit Runs, the Bike may Turbo-boost, but
must finish its move in unit coherency. When charging,
the Jump model may use its jump pack (if it did not do
so in the Movement phase) to re-roll the charge distance
– however that model, and only that model, must use the
new distance rolled.
