Fridays are like a lovely little gift that you get to slowly unwrap and when you finally do you're left with a brand-new weekend! Also, much like a gift, here's a brand-new Glacial Geek KILL TEAM Battle Report! https://youtu.be/qILDQq9Jag0 This week my Dark Angels take on the Necrons! Once the scouts of the Dark Angels managed to send back a report to the battle barge above that the planet they had landed on was overrun with Necrons, the chapter responded. They sent down forces to try and stem the tide of Living Metal. Will the reaction force of the Unforgiven be able to gain a foothold against the xenos threat, or will the Necrons be too tough to handle? Watch and find out!

Wow, who knew that Dark Angels could be more durable than Necrons?

Also, I bet Kill Team tournaments are really fun, partly because most of the really cheesy stuff isn't included. No broken ally shenanigans, no OP units (mostly), no crazy formation buffs, and no crazy psychic powers/deathstars (with no HQ's in Kill Team I imagine the only psychic stuff will be from Daemons or Grey Knights).

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2025: 48 | Total models painted in 2026: 12 | Current main painting project: Tomb Kings

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Another fun Kill Team report! I'm finding these to be a real treat on Fridays.

This time there seemed to be more terrain which was good.

Id like to see a bat rep with a 'mini horde' like a IG platoon or a bunch or Orc boys. I wonder how that would do against your Dark Angels. A bunch of frag grenades thrown at squishy guardsmen seems like it would be effective.

@ZergSmasher I know, right?! That was my first ever win against Necrons! As for the Kill Team Tournament, it was a blast! I got my but whooped, but it was still a blast! We had 22 people show up to our KT tourney which is a great turn out for our scene :-)

@Bloodwolf1972 Thank you! I am really enjoying making them so they'll be coming for the foreseeable future :-D ... Mini Hordes do pretty well! I faced a mini horde of guardsmen in the Tournament I referenced and they fought me to a draw! It was pretty awesome :-D

It was like one of those action films where the guy's team is captured or killed and he single handedly tries to attack the enemy camp himself! ... Except, you know, he died ;-)
