Hey, everyone! I am new to tabletops in general and just getting into AoS. I have a 2000 point army I am building which has Drycha, Treelord Ancient, Spirit of Durthu, 6x Kurnoth Hunters (greatbows), 5x Tree Revenants, 5x Spite Revenants, 2 10x Dryads, and 3x Sylvaneth Woods, 1x Branchwych. According to Scroll List this is exactly 2000 points, but I have a few questions. What weapon should I take for Drycha, fluttersflies, or squirmlings? Is one definitively better than the other, or might work better with my list? What artefacts should I take and who should be my general? Thanks for the help!

If I'm taking a Spirit of Durthu I generally make him the General, he's just too damn good not to, considering how well he can be buffed with Artefacts like the Briarsheath or Glamourweave. Also if he stays near your Branchwych and Treelord Ancient (Or maybe Drycha, but considering that she does damage to those near her you might not want to be within 6") he can absorb wounds for them on a 4+
I'll generally give Drycha the Flitterfuries as that will grant her better range for longer, I also generally find the Flitterfuries more effective as many people in my area aren't playing horde armies (making a flat ten D6's better than one D6 per. model). If you know you're facing hordes then take the Squirmlings.

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Oh man, thanks! This helps a lot. I assume that the army sounds pretty solid to you then?

I overall like it. Personally I don't like Spite Revenants, I just think Tree Revenants can do more for the same points, however when used right with Drycha you can dish out a pretty scary Battleshock phase (though you do need a bit of luck to get it going right). But then some people I know swear by them so you'd have to play them and find out what you think.
The rest is great though, actually quite competitive. I'd be scared of this list if I was fielding my Freequild/Ironweld and you started to pull out those models.

It's a good list, I think. The one problem I have with it is the Spite Revenants, which I think are terrible. They do contribute to battleshock but I think this effect is generally very overstated. Switching them to Tree-Revenants would have the added benefit of allowing you to combine your Dryads into a unit of 20 which is WAY better than 2 units of 10.
For Drycha, I know a lot of people swear by flitterfuries. When I read her rules I did not initially think that she hits your own units with that attack, but a lot of people seem to think she does. If she does in fact hit your own units then I think that squirmlings is far better. Unless you send her in totally unsupported she's likely to cause just as much damage to you as she does to your opponent.
Even if she does not damage your own troops I tend to think that squirmlings are the better option mostly because they fill a role that literally nothing else in the Sylvaneth army roster fills: horde control. Squirmlings is pretty bonkers against large units. Flitterfuries are great against enemies who field many small units, but it's basically just a better version of The Reaping and the Branchwych spell. To me, that makes Squirmlings the more interesting option.
EDIT: One other nice thing about Squirmlings is that they get buffed by "embittered" which is otherwise usually the worse of her two modes. This way you get a nice bump no matter what you roll rather than the higher variability of super-enraged and super-meh embittered.
