Hi, I went to a tournament recently with an IG highlander list and did fairly well (7th out of 34). Lost against Tau with triptide/farsight bomb and a space marine list (combo of smashfether, 3 vindicators and a centurion squad). Neither of these were wipeouts, however, and I still scored 5/20 tourney points in each game by playing to objectives. I'm now trying to refine my list for any future events. C+C is welcome!

The format was only one of each unit choice, and a single troops choice can be duplicated (in my case I have two infantry platoons (which count as one choice according to the TOs)

Possibly... I tend to shy away from things that over-invest in the CCS as they're already a squishy priority target for the enemy.

As they'll be hiding at the back (out of LOS if possible), the standard would only affect a couple of units at best. It might well be worth it even so I suppose - CCS has run off the board on multiple occasions granting STW...

I wish the platoon standard actually had a point - re-rolling morale near the PCSs would actually be useful.
