I just bought the Traitor Legions codex difitally from Black Library but I cannot find an epub reader for my pc that can display it properly. It shows images but all the text is just a bunch of lines. Does anyone know of a reader that can actually correctly display the book

which epub format is it?
(epub has more than one format).

Also which OS is your PC?

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

The Readium add-on for Chrome is the best I know of. You can pin a shortcut to it on your task bar so you can launch it like an application.

It's not amazing (neither are any of the Android readers I know of,) but it properly renders the books so you can read the damn things.

Yeah this is what I use, it's mediocre and I agree the Android readers are bad. I hate Epub, as a mobi / Kindle user. There is literally no way to view these books on Kindle at all now.

I wrote the blacklibrary an email and they told me that they went with Epub3 because customers want gimmicky "360 degree turning photos" instead of just easy access to rules, which I find hard to believe but ok...

Calibre or Azardi.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I have used both to do both. Would you like some technical assistance? Send me a PM.

Readium has worked well for me.

You say Fiery Crash! I say Dynamic Entry!

*Increases Game Point Limit by 100*: Tau get two Crisis Suits and a Firewarrior. Imperial Guard get two infantry companies, artillery support, and APCs.

Just to be clear, I can read them on my PC -- using Readium as well. I might even be able to read them with Calibre, I honestly haven't really tried since Readium is decent - but I have had zero luck, with converting the newest BL files however - to PDF or mobi, so that I may be able to read them on Kindle.

Specifically the newest Kill Team epub and the Red Thirst Edition BA codex.

Claibre for me fails to convert. Its gets to 47% and freezes. I've reinstalled, tried different formats and redownloaded the epub file from BL website in case I had corrupted it. But it does not work. Can anyone help me here? I'm getting pretty agitated.

The only mobile/tablet app that will read them correctly for me is Kobo.

Just downloaded the Astra Militarum Codex. Its only as an epub3 file and Calibre won't convert it to Mobi (same as a few of you I wish to view it on my kindle) it stalls at 47% and then fails (after I leave for a couple of hours)

If I'd pirated this I wouldn't mind this hassle but since I payed for this through warhammer digital it should you know, actually work!?!

Welcome to the world of DRM. I know for a fact there are PDF copy of the codexes out there that has none of these problems.

The various apps seem to mis-scale the fonts making reading and screen-grabs difficult. This is with Kobo on the phone, and Adobe Digital (mentioned earlier) on the PC.
I'll have to dig around later for a cleaner app.
