So I just got the Grand Alliance Chaos "codex" for AoS and looking through it found these two beautiful monstrosities. Both brutal in their appearance and abilities. The question is, which one is really better and why?

Obviously SB is a mainly melee unit while MVB is a melee and bit of magic in hero phase. How effective are the magic abilities of the MVB? Some do sound pretty funny, like #2 "trollbrains" "On the roll of a one, the target unit has completely forgotten what they are supposed to do and can't be selected to cast spells, move, or attack until their next hero phase." Hilarious and nasty.

Any thoughts or preferences between the two?

Thanks in advance.

Slaughterbrute seems a little on the weak side. Mainly due to few attacks, 4+ to hit and weak rending. I suppose it's ok at 200 points.

With love from Denmark
