So, the Blood Angel pseudo-chapter-tactic is Furious charge, which gives you +1 attack and strength on the charge. However, a few battle reports I've watched on youtube have shown units that don't have furious charge getting an extra attack for charging. Does everyone get an extra attack for charging, and the only benefit of furious charge is the +1 strength?

Yes. See the assault section of the rule book. Special Rules section details Furious charge. Do Blood Angels also get Rage? That could be a source of an extra attack on the charge.

As Yarium suggests, check out the Assault section in the BRB. You'll find the answer there. Hint: the USR "Furious Charge" does NOT by itself grant +1 attack, just +1Str as you imply. And I think there is a Blood Angel detachment that gives them +1 Initiative as well.

This is the general rule, but there are ways to lose it, such as a multiple Charge or Charging a unit equipped with Defensive Grenades.

I don't have a rulebook of my own, I got into 40k again around 2 months ago. Before that I had by own but sold it. Now I'm confused xD So all furious charge does is give +1 strength on the charge?

Yup, thats furious charge, +1 str on the charge.
All models get an extra attack for charging. Models with rage get +2 attacks for charging instead of just one.

Yes.
Other charge bonuses are from other sources, not the FC rule.

So to summarize:
All models get +1 Atk when they charge, unless they disordered charge (because the enemy has defensive grenades or you charge multiple units)
FC gives +1 Str when you charge
Rage gives +2 Atks instead of 1
There is a BA detachment/formation that give +1 Initiative as well as other charge bonuses.

Well, that sucks lol. Blood Angels seem to have one of the worst "chapter tactics" in the game.

Don't be so sure! The difference from Initiative 4 to Initiative 5 in this game is probably the most important jump one can make. You go from simultaneous to first in most situations, and against the still rather numerous Initiative 5 opponents you'll go from last to simultaneous. Sure again Initiative 3 or lower you were already going first, and against Initiative 6 or higher you are still going last, but almost everyone whose anyone is Initiative 4, and almost all "kill them before they kill you" dudes are Initiative 5.

I do love the +1 Initiative from the Baal Strike Force, and all the other formations it's a part of. But for our base chapter tactic to be just +1 strength on the charge? That means a BA 10 man tactical squad only does 1.6 more wounds than a Vanilla Tactical squad. Ah well, thems the breaks I guess. Thanks for your help guys
