Hi Guys, looking for advices! The strategy is simple: gain terrain and sitting on objectives thanks to my resistance, shootin and charging when useful, the lord with the spawns is the anti walker and serves as defence and countercharge. The psycher is fluffy and just to try the new powers, but maybe i should by another havoc unit...

No advice? How should I equip the HQs and the havocs? Is the new nurgle discipline ok with the rest of the army?

All looks cool. I think bikes work better than raptors, that T6 fnp and jink with stealth should see you through.

DG havoks are pretty great. Most other DG lists are ditching oblits for maximized havoks.
The formation is cool but the warpsmith tax is a lot (basically another havok unit)

The nurgle discipline looks solid. I'd go claw and fist on the Lord, for the extra attack.
Not sure if any of the relics are particularly worth it.. The burning brand is always fun. Maybe with the sorcerer on a bike.

havocs for oblits? Interesting, ATM i dont have the models but i could try. Yeah bikes are great but just 3 wounds... furthermore I was thinking about doing DS with the raptors, in order to help with the low mobility of the army. The claw and the Skalathrax would be great, but i have no points...

Automatically Appended Next Post:
are the lascannons havocs ok or should I try a different kind of fire?

Yeah, DG havoks have relentless, and get are resilient enough from nurgle bonuses. Plus, you can shoot the same weapon each turn with your havoks, which oblits can't.

Why must I always choose beween certain death and probable death.

Ok, guess the only thing to do now is try it out, the list exceeds the 1500 points so I have to sharp it up a little

4 x autocannons on havocs

bikes to protect the lord. 3+, 3+ cover (outside of 18"), FnP reroll 1s

maybe dimensional key for no scatter DS.

JP on the sorcerer with the bikes and get him to do a charge reroll by snaking him back a little.

dropping the oblits gets you a few more bikes and maybe an extra set of havocs with a different weapon set.

I'd say if you want Deep Striking Raptors, you can't go wrong with bringing a Raptor Talon as your aux choice with DG. Throw some Plasma (Relentless, so can still charge) and maybe a PF here and there and let them drop, lay into choice units, and maybe get a charge or two off.

That being said, in the Warband slot, DG Bikers > DG Raptors as Captyn_Bob already said.
