You know, it would probably be best to just ditch some of those Sydonians and instead put together the Execution Force.


If you didn't remember, the Callidus can infiltrate within 1', carries a poisoned template, and inflicts a -2 to opponent reserve rolls while allowing a reroll on Seize.


Vindicare is great because......sniper? It's a 150pt tax on the unit, but the extra VP for killing a Warlord with ANY of them is pretty sweet.


Your Onager formations are excellent. But I don't remember one thing: do those Skitarii Protocols apply to units in their respective Maniples, or do they apply to all allied Skitarii units in your army?

The Doctrina Imperatives are a unit special rule, not a detachment special rule, so they apply to all that have it. The assassination force is more expensive than all the Sydonians, and more, combined! I wanted the assassins to be mini distractions the enemy has to deal with. The Eversor will butcher just about any light infantry and can put down MEQ with some regularity. The Culexus is for psyker shutdown. There's lots of stuff to shoot at besides the skitarii foot sloggers.

Hi there ! I'm a Skitarii player myself, and I was wondering why so many people played their Vanguards full Arc Rifles. Do you need so much disruptive weapons at this point level ? It adds 45 pts per units, which seems cheap I admit, but is is worth it ?

Arc rifles are great at glancing things to death. With alpha imperative up, it gives you a solid chance to remove hard armor from the game turn one. Otherwise, they're solid rifles for the cost, IMO, and it gives the mainly anti-infantry unit some ability to drop transports to get to the soft tasty insides.

Oh I see, what do you think about Warlord Plasma squad ? 2 or 3 calivers in the unit of the lord with Preferred enemy ?
