Got around to whipping up some berzerkers using the Blood Warriors 3-pack kit just to see how they'd come out. Overall I liked the dimensions of the fantasy warriors compared to the 40k berzerkers. The proportions just seem better. Overall I'm pretty happy with the way they came out. Probably going to continue with the set of 10 next time.

Anyway, I tried a few things here with the textured paints and I'm wondering what other's experiences are with the Agrellan Badland basing material. It had a habit of flaking up too much when it dried to the point where it risked just chipping off the edges of the base. Any idea on how to solve that? Am I putting on to little or too much? That and I tried out the blood technical effects on some of them. Should I tone back the usage or no? So the guy on the far left, I only applied it to the weapon and weapon arm only. The guy in the middle I kind of slapped it wherever to get a gore covered effect. Which do you prefer? Thanks for any C&C!

I like the old bzkrs kit.
Not a huge fan of bloodwarriors for bzkrs, esp because of the heads and the boots and the non power armour...
The armour is basically there but not quite...
Going to use the 3pack, skullreaperbits and raptors for 5 or 6 kdk and chaos lords.

You know half of the classic zerkers are wearing leather gloves...

I really like these!

Thanks! I guess if I really wanted too I could chop the boots off and throw on power armored feet. Not sure if I'm quite willing to do that yet. Skullreaper legs might not be a bad idea. It will just get expensive combining all these kits, lol.

You could also just shave down the top of the boot and GS the rest of it to look smoother/more segmented like armor plates.

Whatever works, will see if i can gather a weeks worth of shavings this summer and vaguebrag for beginner devotion to making do with what youve got.

But just noticing that zerkerhands are like 1.5 times csm hands so either their rageful hands are good at all coherently mutating under their gloves or they have hand armor under the leather? They could make it easier with pistol swaps. Not like im not looking forward to a new kit, but has been good for the exp.

Hve also started looking at tokens from nurgle that folks on their way to daemonhood might have been granted, namely by the excess of shoulderpads from the blight kings kit.
But i love powerarmour.

They look good, just thought id share the love
