Jealous that Horus is Warmaster

Hey folks.

I am planning on starting a Mechanicum Taghmata army for 30k, and I am looking for Forge Worlds to paint. The Porphyrion Knight I have planned is most likely going to be House Cadmus, as I enjoy their lore and colour scheme. Since, if I got the lore correctly, they were allied with the Forge World Gryphonne IV during the Heresy and up until the Tyranid attack much later, I thought they would be perfect for the actual Mechanicum part of the army. However, I can't find any sources on Gryphonne IV's colours. Their Titan legion can be found (both pre and post heresy), but would the Forge Worlds own forces also be painted with the same colours as those of the Legio Gryphonicus?

I found this picture which might just answer my question, but I also want your input. It seems to be a castellax with the Legio Gryphonicus colours and sigils:

Any help here would be greatly appreciated! Also, if you have any other ideas on a Forge World to paint, please tell me! Only real requirement is that they are loyalists.

Alpharius? Never heard of him.

Yes, PDF and Skitarii troops would be in the Legion's colours.

I seem to remember Codex Titanicus having various marking (the gryphon head) in red, green and blue for tactical, assault and heavy weapon units...

Alright, sounds good! I really dig the look of the most recent models that Forge World released, in that Xana colour scheme. Looks great with the cream/off-white armour, but they are like the OG Dark Mechanicum. Super heretics, so that's no good!

Anyway, thanks for the response, will most likely go with Gryphonne IV. Painting any potential future Titan will be nice with that scheme as well.
