Subject: The Blue Scribe questions...

5th God of Chaos! (Ho-hum)
Curb stomping in the Eye of Terror!

So first... here's the "Scrolls of Sorcery" from 2014 FAQ (I couldn't find any of this in GW's Facebook FAQ):
At the start of each friendly Psychic Phase, choose a Psychic Discipline from Warhammer 40,000: The Rules and roll a D6 -- this turn the Blue Scribes automatically manifests that power without the need for a psychic test (they cannot swap for the Primaris Power). This power is treated as having been manifested by minimum amount of Warp charge points required to manifest the power, for the purposes of Deny the Witch rolls. Note that the Blue Scribes are not Psykers for the purposes of any special rules that target Psykers.
A) I know RAW it says to choose a power from the "Warhammer 40,000: The Rules"... but, what about the new Change/Tzeentch powers? Or, the new Traitor's Hate/WoM/Traitor Legions powers? Ectomancy, Geomortis, Heretech and Sinistrum powers??
B) So psyhic powers that targets the psyker won't work on Blue Scribes... as they're not psykers?
C) What about malefic's Possession? Does that work?

Main rulebook powers only.
The FAQ answered the other parts of your question. Basically it accounted to they are considered a psyker in most respects for manifesting a power but at no other time. So powers that target the psyker can target them and powers that deal wounds to the psyker wound them as normal.

Great... that answers my questions.
Only BRB powers and they ARE affected by "targeted by psyker" powers that they manifest.
Interesting little bugger costing only 81 pts.

Auspicious Daemonic Herald

Well he is NOT an independent character so he is a T4 2W model standing around by himself

They are on a Disc, so being in LoS of the enemy should be rare. All it takes is rolling one 6 to turn them into a Greater Daemon for them to be worth it.

Against a static gunline sure. But against mobile armies they don't have a problem getting behind a wall to shoot the t4 2w character that is making free daemons half the time

Worst case scenario, you reserve the Blue Scribes and when they come on, you move them out of LoS to not get intercepted, then spew out a free unit of Daemons. If they live to create at least 2 units they paid for themselves.
Also if your opponent is making the effort to get close enough to kill an 81pt model behind a wall, the Daemon player is winning.
