What do you guys reckon is in the box?

Do you think this means we might be getting a DE update? They're one of the few armies left not to have all the formations and Decurion chart.

Also I really hope this leads to Vect and Malys getting models. They might even give Lilith a new sculpt with her being an old metal model.

There's a decent bit of discussion on this over on The Dark City.

Current thinking is that the snippet of picture on the teaser looks like a vane from a Hellion skyboard, although could be a Reaver Jetbike.

We're thinking it's most likely a standalone game like Burning of Prospero or somesuch. Would be great if it's a Dark Eldar update though

There's also this pic that's been teased, the pattern on which is identical to the floor of a Raider:



It's got gems on, which is very much Craftworld or Harlequin. I can't think of a Dark Eldar model with gemstones, so either a Harlequin model, or Malys (who's connected to the Harlequins).

Either that or it's some Aelf-thing from AoS that I can chop up and use as an exodite conversion...

It could be Malys. I remember from old codex one of her weapons is a bladed fan. So she is probably wearing some sort of court dress.

But, those gems do look very Craftworld esque. But then again maybe it fits with the whole court regalia that she wears more bling. You're right about the pattern. Also I am a bit iffy on the colors. I think her Kabal normally wears this bright blue so I would have thought her dress would be the same color.

I am also not sure Malys would fit with a game about reaver and hellion gangs.

I mean don't get me wrong, I absolutely do want to get a female Archon model for my army.

But I am leaing more on the Aelves side of things. Maybe Morathi?

Yeah you're right on the colour front. It's not even as if the cloak would be a contrasting colour as blue and purple go together like mustard and marshmellows...

I think the idea was that Gangs of Commorragh would be a standalone game about Hellions, whereas the teaser image is something else entirely.

Yeah it is likely to be something AoS...

It could be a box game like Deathwatch Overkill or the Assassin one. Some kind of gang rivalry mechanic, testing the waters for Necromunda maybe.

I'm expecting it to be a Gorechosen sized box with Reavers and maybe Hellions in it, not the DE update we all want but I'll take anything that lets me get more of their models for less.

But my Wyches are so lonely and afraid.

And mine are crumpling under the wight of dust.

I am seriously crossing my fingers for a rules buff to wyches coming out of that box, mind too are being crushed by eons of dust.
