Can someone tell me how many points should be used in a planet assault mission?

I wonder if the attacker would have enough momentum to pass throught the fortifications at a game of 1500 pts

Well you could always add extra strategems and perhaps less fortification.

Planet Strike is fun as heck if, if you realize going in that it's an uphill battle and it's not a balanced match.
