An opponent I regularly face at the local gaming store has come up with a new Ultra Marine unit he has put together. He drops in a drop pod containing Chief Librarian Tigurius, with 3 centurians armed with grav amps. Pretty Nasty unit. I play Death Guard, and would please like some advice the best way to deal with this unit. I always try and tie up the Centurians in close combat to neutralize their grav amps as quickly as possible. Having Tigurius in the unit protecting them makes it a harder task to effectively tie up the Centurians. What would be some options, troop wise, or tactics wise to deal with this predicament? Thanks for any advice that can be given.

Spawn! Grav bounces off, they have good toughness and are pretty cheap. Bubble wrap your important things with them. If you run renegade and heretic allies you can get them cheaper , but lose the mark.

A Lord with a Fist and Spawn. Spawn will eat the Grav and the Lord can ID Tigger without too much issue. After all, he probably didn't activate Force.

As mentioned earlier spawn are quick and grav is terrible against them, if you take Typhus you can also use a big mob of zombies.

Deathguard Spawns are the most powerful (cheezy) thing in the CSM codex.

They're ironically also a really good counter to grav.

You don't even need a Lord, 5 Deathguard Spawns will tie up Tigurius and his Centurion-buddies for the entire game, and they only cost a fraction.

What is special on Deathguard Spawns? They are not simple nurgle Spawns?? They (think) dont gains any new rule since they are no veterans ... Or am I missing something?

Well if you're using legion rules onto death guard, word bearers and black legion can take nurgle spawn now.
They also gain stealth in the vectorum, which is very handy for a unit with no armour

In all honesty, nurgle spawns don't even need any extra buffs to be great.

That said, Death Guard Bikers got a lot going for them now that choosing between the two is super hard.
