Would the arms (and possibly the head) of alexis polux fit onto a cataphractii body? I'm planning to model a cataphractii captain with pfist, sheild eternal and meltagun - polux's kit looks like it should be perfect but I'm not sure how regular marine arms would look on a terminator body.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm.. You checked put the kits.?

Catapracti arms are far bulkier than power armour.

A better idea may be thinking on it. You cut the weapons off near hands and repurpose the catpatacti arms mostly.

Then shoulders and such may work better.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Yeah I have had a look at both, I was hoping that the chunky fist and shield would compensate for the arm size. Also I heard that polux is supposedly larger than a standard marine (not sure if this is represented in his model though).

If I could get this to work I would keep the terminator shoulderpads - if anything I was thinking they could cover any noticeable differences in size nicely

I have one model that uses a Termi body with PA arms. They do look a bit stubby but IMO not bad. I'll try to get a picture of it up tonight.

The trick is to use a termi shoulder pad and fill it with green stuff the fit the arm in it towards the bottom of the pad. It looks like I do have a picture of a termi with a possessed arm that i'll post to give you a basic idea.

It's worth bearing in mind that Polux's model is substantially bigger than an average PA marine. It could work.
