Hi folks,
I have been a long time lurker on this forum and decided finally to participate in the discussions regarding 40K and other stuff.
Blast from the past
I started the hobby during 2nd edition of 40K and have still fond memories of overwatching Boltguns blasting charging Tyranids to bits and pieces. The most hilarious moments in 40K were however, when a Vortex Grenade came loose in the hands of an infiltrating Space Marine Scout Sgt. due to a Vortex Detonator installed in a nearby friendly vehicle.
Then came 3rd edition and a lot of good elements like Overwatch with your proper Ballistic Skill, Hiding, Armour Saving Modifiers and other things were thrown out of the window in favour of a system which included just more models in a battle. Though a lot of detail was missing from this point on in 40K, there were still opportunities to have satisfying matchups on the battlefield. In fact, this was the time period in which our gaming group was most active.
Nowadays
Our gaming group disntegrated seven years ago because of life. So in the last years I had approximately one or two 40K, WH Fantasy or Blood Bowl games. Today my hobby activities are restricted to painting miniatures but my output concerning finished models is significantly reduced.
I am also totally shocked what GW did to WH Fantasy. This new travesty of a game is an utter trainwreck. I am really sad for people who put a lot of love and effort in their Old World armies.
Question
I have picked up recently Imperial Knights: Renegades and managed to finish a Bad Moonz Stompa, which took me several years to accomplish. In one of countless threads on the "interwebs" it was mentioned that there were actually published rules for this orkoid wrecking machine for Imperial Knights: Renegades but I could not find them anywhere in the WWW. Even a GW staff member could not help to point me to the correct White Dwarf in which those rules where supposed to be written down. Do any of you folks know, in which White Dwarf these rules were published?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day,
Strg Alt
