So I was given an Ironjawz Brute sprue and decided to try to convert if to W40k sinc I don't play AoS... Necer tired any converting before, save the odd weapon swap, so was quite pleased with the result... Might play it as a MAN boss... Comments welcome!

Looks good, especially for starting out.

I'm not sure the sharp boxyness of the claw meshes with the round shape of the forearm, but from the front it looks good. And you added the wiring which is a nice touch.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Nice work, the proportions are good and the wiring makes it look more integrated and not just a power claw stuck on a fantasy model.

I'd file/smooth the edges of the Klaw indeed, and maybe add some more stuff from 40K on pauldrons and such. Maybe a Stikbomm launcha or something. Also, personally I'd remove the daggers from his groin. They kind of make him feel more a Dark Angel than an ork, in 40K.

Thanks for the comments... I noticed the mold lines on the klaw when I posted the image - it'll be getting scraped down asap! Also realised I've a bosspole which needs to go on there too, and you're right Adam, a few more "40k" extras will make a difference, so will head back to the bitz box!

Great job! There are a lot of AOS/Fantasy miniatures that will work great in 40K with some customization, this just shows another instance of that.

I personally like the daggers on his belt, they could be trophies taken from Dark Angels.

So I've made a few additions, and I reckon I'm about done... Don't want to add too may bitz and over egg the pudding... What do you think..?

Looks great! The only thing I would fix is the mold line in his right arm and on the axe.

I'd be happy with that as a conversion now, let alone my first one!

Looks great love the cables and tubes running from under that rear armour plate to the Klaw.
