Any tips and tactics for them? I can do the Raptor talon easily but I am thinking about taking a Hellforged Warpack or a Terminator Annihilation force, both are doable.

Raptor talon does not benefit from Night lord tactics too much - you only get stealth. And fear is just too niche to be counted upon. What you do have is raptor troops and a 2+ re-rollable daemon prince. Can make a decent 750-1k CAD out of it. Add in sorcabal and allies like msu iron warrior oblits or dg with nurgle spawns and relentless fnp havoks so that you have a fairly mobile scoring force and a decently tough shooty backline + some magic to work things out on the run.

A night lord daemon prince with that artefact armor that gives 2+ save plus +1 to cover save is really hard to kill.

If it is a Nurgle prince, it gets shrouded by default, then the VOTLW gives it stealth and then the artefact gives another +1 cover save on top of that. So, even out in the open, the Nurgle night lord prince will have 3+ cover save, and in any kind of cover, it will be 2+ for sure.

Best use of night lords seem to be in a CAD so that you get that hard to kill Daemon Prince.

I mean, you are probably going to jink if needed. unless you have a particularly potent witchfire.

Stealth benefits bikes a lot for this reason.

And a Tzeentch Prince is better than Nurgle because it can re-roll 1s for saving throws. So anything that allows an Armour save, will be 2+ re-rollable and against Ap2, you have a 2+ re-rollabe Jink (4+ Jink, +Stealth and the armour gives +1 cover to that)
