This one seems fairly straightforward but figured I'd double check. Looking at a deathwatch frag cannon in kill team (everything is a single model), I can point my shots in slightly different directions to catch different models with each as long as I keep my initial target partially under both of them, correct?

first template:
[OO]O
\___|...

second template:
O[OO]
...|___/

Two hits on middle (primary) target with one hit on each to either side?

I can't do something crazy like firing one template one direction and the other 180 degrees from the first, while at the same time I'm not forced to put both in the same spot?

the only requirement is you have to cover as much of the target unit as possible. If you are still doing that you are fine

That's only for vehicles IIRC. Against non vehicles you put the template in such a way that it maximizes hits. So in KT you can literally tag a small portion of the base of your intended target in order to hit targets you otherwise wouldn't be able to.
