I would really like to make an Emperors Children's list that gets the +1 S to sonic weapons from having 6 squads in a the Kakophani.
However, I can't get them to fit at 6×10. So right now they are 6x5.
I also don't know what to pair this with. I like the Hell Drake formation and the Raptor formation.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I've also been fiddling with a Kakophoni list. This is what id come up with; Kakophoni Warband Chaos Lord – Mark of Slaanesh, Blissgiver – 110pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Doom Siren, Icon of Excess – 152pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Doom Siren, Icon of Excess – 152pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Blast Master, Icon of Excess – 167pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Blast Master, Icon of Excess – 167pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Blast Master, Icon of Excess – 167pts 5x Noise Marines – 4x Sonic Blaster, Blast Master, Icon of Excess – 167pts Spawn 5x Chaos Spawn – Mark of Slaanesh – 165pts CAD Daemon Prince – Daemon of Slaanesh, lvl3, Power Armour – 255pts Sorcerer – Mark of Slaanesh, lvl3, Spell Familiar – 140pts 20x Cultists – Mark of Slaanesh – 105pts 19x Cultists – Mark of Slaanesh – 100pts Can easily swap out D Prince for other more effective units(Helldrake cough cough), or even just take the spawn as a 33pt tax. but i like having a distraction carnifex and my mates are more fluff players then competitive. That and i usually play BT so have never used psykers or MCs before and wanna try em out. I've never played CSM before so have no idea if any of this will actually work, but it is what makes sense to me. Automatically Appended Next Post: Remember you want the Slaaneshi powers going off, If you get Symphony of Pain off, it adds a cumulative +1S to your sonic weapons. This means that blastmasters S9 cos of Kakophoni become S10 ignores cover weapons. The Doom sirens are basically already bale flamers, and the Sonic Blasters can be upped to S5+ salvo3 ignores cover madness.

I had trouble reproducing the points values in the OPs list. Might want to check them / edit for clarity. In general, it's easier to get advice when people know what things cost.
Running 6 Noise Marine squads with full sonics is a lot more powerful / reliable than people realize. I used to do the same in 6th edition, without all the new rules for EC, and had success as long as I could get them into position for a lot of shooting.
Most of my strategies relied on cover, usually in the form of Rhinos which would act not as transports, but as moving shields for my NMs. I could move them out of the way when it's time to shoot without running into issues with Salvo rules.
That said:
- This list would be better with some Rhinos.
- The Chaos Lord would be better on a bike. The jump pack is nice, but the increased toughness would be nicer.
- Anything that ties up opponents that would otherwise be shooting at you is good. A Raptor Talon, for instance, assaulting the turn they arrive, could make it a lot easier to get into position.
- Spawn could make a huge difference in this list as well. Moving as a beast means you have other things for opponents to shoot at until your NMs are in place.
