Hello all, I come to you today with a bit of a quandary.

Back, when I was young, there was a game that I enjoyed playing and now I want to go back to it, however I have hit a small snag: I cannot remember its name.
The game was rather fun, and was based around hovertank combat over a series of campaigns. Damage was worked out as per facing, with your front, right, rear and left armour sections each having its own HP pool, and once that was depleted the enemy could shoot your central section. If your central section was destroyed then your unit was destroyed. If I recall armour regenerated slowly, or at least it did on some units.
There was a large array of hover tanks to choose from, and you could set custom battles with different units on each side.

Does anyone have any idea what my game was called?
[EDIT]

The game is Thunder Brigade.

If it wasn't for the specific armor system I could figure it out..

I want to say Battlezone 1998, but it doesn't have the subarmor, Battletanx isn't all about hovertank combat, and cybersled doesn't have the subarmor either..

Armour regenerated over time, but the central section didnt.

Also, it was futuristic.
