I'll be honest. While I like Stormcasts will enough, there are two major things I dislike about them, namely the body armor and the head. Well, the head is easily swapped for a more traditional enclosed helmet. The armour, however, is a head-scratcher. I supposed one can cover up the abs easily enough with either a big belt, green stuff or just about anything to bulk it up. What can you do about the chest though?

I am looking for a more traditional take on it, using medieval full plate armour as an inspiration. I do not mind it staying two pieces as they are on the model, but the pecks need to go. Any idea on how to accomplish that? Preferably in a way that is easy to do multiple times as the majority of the army would need that style. Also, if there is a way to turn it into one solid piece of armour, like medieval full-plate armour, then that would be grand, but as important as removing the pecks.

I'd consider simply using alternate figures at that point.

I'd try adding green stuff to fill the furrows between the pecs and the edge ridges, and smoothing out the result with a ball-shaped sculpting tool (to give consistency). The pecs won't completely disappear, but will be toned down greatly.

Failing that, would chain mail be an acceptable look? Apply green stuff, then add chain mail pattern with a sharp point (easy, but tedious). Would need to be done to the whole torso too, so a lot of work :(

I will try filling the area between the pecs. I do not mind some semblance of them left. I think that will actually do. Some models can also get a tabard, not that I think of it.
