Hello! I am off to a GT in a few weeks and am looking for some list feedback. I have played similar list (double cad really) for about the whole year BUT with the new formation I am getting more charges and don't have to pay 4 troop tax.

I was running a chaos demon knight but dropped in in favor of drones and a herald as I was having issues with getting shot before I could buff it. Is it still better to run it?! I have yet to try playing this list and was hoping for tweaks before I ran it.

My only complaint is that your Drones and Screamers are 1 model short of their respective sacred numbers.

Other than that this is a near perfect list.

I have been playing around with a list similar to this but I always put the bell on the Nurgle herald. Plus I have been using one less drone.

I feel like I am being stupid here (tired and can't concentrate) but where is the Herald going? On his own he'll die easy and with the drones he slows them down.

He doesn't really slow them down though. You have to string them but when you charge he gets slowly slingshot with them.

I actually just played with my list.

Verse DA lions blade. Tons of grav. It was a bloodbath. His grav was useless and I summoned flamer chariots which finished off the units. The list is 1-0!!!

I like this better than the Magnus list. You're going to make me bring Sisters of Silence aren't you.

Darth you should always have sisters of silence or anti phsyker defense.

The great thing is the cc units can handle the girls without needing powers

I'm glad you guys got me thinking about this again! Lots of good lists. I'd been trying to do something drastically different since we got a bunch of new toys, but going back to something tried and true with new buffs might be better.

I do however prefer having two Heralds with the drones so here's my take on it:

Oracles:
Fateweaver
LoC: ML3, Robes, 2x Greater, Lesser

CAD:
Nurgle Herald: ML2, Locus of FNP, Greater, Grotti (or bell)
Nurgle Herald: ML2, Greater

11 Blue Horrors

25 WC for starters and a punchier star. I really like the Second Nurgle Herald for a better shot at endurance (EW makes the drones a huge pain) and Iron Arm so that one of them can take a bale sword.

Gotta love these formations man. This is basically my old list except with more toys (paradox, grotti, Robes) and a slew of buffs (reroll reserves, reroll to seize, reroll 1s on just about everything with Fatey and LoC, and 4 more WC). I guess my troops lost rolling on Malefic but I'll definitely take that trade.

I would probably put the bell on ones the locus on another herald. I am trying to finagle a way to get the locus of conjuration on one of the Tzeentch heralds to up my strength to better have a chance on shooting knights. I would love to use the oracles but am trying to get ready for Adepticon. I may try them next weekend

I totally get that you only have 2 detachments to work with and I'm that scenario I think your list is about as good as a PlagueStar/Screamer Star combo gets.

Outside of that I find the LoC to be superior to the Prince because he's T6 so you don't have to worry about fishing for Endurance or Iron Arm to keep him from being ID'd by S10 attacks.

I thought about dropping a ML on the Grimoire Herald and adding the Conjuration locus, but even then it's a heavy WC investment to manifest and you'll still only be glancing on 6s against side armor. I think you're better off using Fateys D shot or glancing them out with prescienced drones.
