So in IAV1E2 the FoC has three charts, the Primary Detachment which is required, a fortifcation which is optional, and an allied dethcment which is optional. Is this allied detachment required to be units from IAV1E2, or can they be another faction, like Tempestus.

"Enemies of the Imperium, hear me. You have come here to die. The Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible. His soldiers will strike you down. His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us His greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the First Kronus Regiment, and today is our Victory Day. " - Governor-Militant Lukas Alexander, Commander 1st Kronus Regiment

Those are 6ed rules. You should just use the CAD and allied detachment like normal

Then I can't use tank orders from IAV1E2

Sure you can. Using the CAD in the BRB you take a Company command tank, and 2 Leman Russ squadrons.

Ah, thank-you, I though ABG special rules meant if you use the FoC, forgive me.

It is the same thing. A CAD requires 1 HQ and 2 Troops. Command tanks are HQ, Leman russ squadrons, siege tank squadrons and armored fist squads are troop choices. As such you get objective secured because it is a CAD, orders because of the command tank, and warlord traits for the ABG if he is from the ABG list.

Ya, I thought ABG sepcial rules meant the same thing as the benefits (such as objective secured) from CAD FoC. The fact that its called the ABG and the ABG FoC confused me, Emperor forgive me.
